The story

Refreshing a brand with 60 years of established success.

How do you take a brand with decades of history and guide it through a digital refresh, without losing the essence of its identity?

Be fearless. Together with Silco leadership, that's how we approached this challenge. We knew we wanted to infuse some contemporary design into this established, and fairly traditional, brand.

The result was a fresh take on fire + security by starting with an aesthetic that would be uniquely Silco. Steeped in familiar brand colors, the new design takes a big step forward, but maintains it recognizability for its long standing patrons.
Where we started

A lack of brand consistency and guidelines gave rise to a Frankenstein site.

A secondary emphasis was placed on creating a clear call-to-action for talent recruitment.

The portfolio of fire services is where Silco started. These critical pages are paramount to their business, so we made sure they made a compelling case.

Security services are where Silco's future lies. Corporate and commercial security is complex, so the messaging is deliberately simple.

Lead generation

Every page calls visitors to action by offering quick and easy service estimates, emergency services or support from their certified technicians.

Recruitment

Voted a Top Place to Work in Ohio, Silco keeps growing. As business expands, recruiting trustworthy, reliable employees is a top priority.

New content was developed for all service pages, including some entirely new services introduced by Silco, expanding upon their offerings.
With so much history and expertise, Silco's service pages are full of valuable content for visitors. Content covers everything from educational + technical information to videos of training sessions.

Calls-to-action are sprinkled into each service page so that support is always accessible—paying off on the goal of improved lead generation and new customer engagement.
